Technical session identifier
When you open this page, your browser automatically generates a random code (a technical session identifier), temporarily stored on your device.
This code is included, silently, both when the questionnaire is submitted and in any subsequent use of the game or the photo contest. It is used exclusively to understand, in aggregate form, how many people who answer the questionnaire go on to use the related digital experiences — a piece of data useful for research on visitor behaviour.
This identifier cannot be used in any way to trace your identity. It is not a name, not an email address, and is not linked to any personal identification data. It is not shared with third parties, nor used for purposes other than the research purposes described in this notice.
If you also take part in the photo contest by providing a name/pseudonym and email address, that data continues to be processed according to the purposes described in section B, independently of the technical session identifier: the latter only links the "path" (questionnaire → digital experience), it does not connect your questionnaire answers to your name or email address.
The retention period for this identifier follows the same rules set out in the "Data retention" section.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing is represented by:
Voluntary participation in the research survey;
The data subject's consent, where required;
Carrying out the initiative and managing the prize;
Legitimate institutional and research purposes, where applicable;
Compliance with legal obligations.
Data retention
Data will be kept for 3 years and subsequently deleted or made anonymous, unless otherwise required by law.
Prize delivery data will be deleted or restricted after shipping is completed and any necessary administrative period has elapsed.
Recipients and data processors
Data may be processed by authorised project personnel and by technical providers necessary for:
Website hosting;
Questionnaire management;
File storage;
Email communication;
Prize delivery.
Data is not sold or used for advertising purposes unrelated to the project.
International transfers
Any transfer of data to non-EU countries is subject to the safeguards provided for by applicable law. This section will be completed based on the project's final technical configuration.
Rights of data subjects
As a data subject, you have the right to:
Access your personal data;
Request its rectification;
Request its deletion;
Request restriction of processing;
Object to processing, where applicable;
Withdraw consent, where applicable;
Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Completing the research questionnaire is voluntary;
Uploading photos or videos is voluntary;
Not uploading content does not affect participation in the Festival;
Failure to provide the required data in the forms only prevents participation in that specific digital activity.
Cookies and statistical analysis
Only technical cookies and aggregate analysis tools are used, necessary to measure:
Page visits;
Questionnaire completion;
Drop-offs;
Device category;
Clicks on the two activities.
No advertising cookies or remarketing pixels are used. Should any non-technical cookies be activated, an appropriate consent mechanism will be shown.
The technical session identifier described in this notice is separate from the analytics cookies listed here: it does not measure visits in general, but only links, in aggregate form, the questionnaire to the digital experiences for those who take part in both.
